Everything you need to know about covering the research: how to collaborate, what data I share, and the non-negotiable rules protecting the community.

Creator Collaboration Framework: Verification & Security Boundaries
Creator Policy
What You Can't Do Strict Boundary
  • Skip the "How": Never dig into or explain how it works.
  • No Pipeline Leaks: Only state that Mud knows their loadout.
  • No Raw Notes: Never display internal handwritten files.
  • Ask for Context: Ask Mud to explain rather than quoting rows.
  • Pre-Export Review: Never publish cuts without Mud reviewing.
  • Zero Redistribution: Never share private research files.
What You Can Do Official Support
  • Share the Site: Link the project website in your description.
  • The Hook: Say I read skins to hook viewers into the research.
  • Riot Knows: Mention that Riot knows the project and cleared it.
  • Public Telemetry: Quote verified stats from valstats.site.
  • Authentic Stories: Feature verified player acquisition files.
  • Custom B-Roll: Get animated graphs tailored to your video style.
  • Ask Anything: Interview Mud with any unasked research question.
01. Database Privacy

I share the findings.
I never hand over the registry.

The RGB Project documents over 550+ verified Riot Gun Buddy owners across live Valorant lobbies. Every entry contains Riot IDs, encounter timestamps, and personal player backstories.

Creators regularly ask for access to my raw spreadsheet files. I deny every single one. If a creator wants to highlight the project positively and share the findings, I collaborate happily. However, I never hand over the raw database.

I spent three years queuing into thousands of matches to build this archive. Keeping the raw sheets private protects my legacy. I will not let someone download my spreadsheet and publish a video claiming they did the research.

Keeping the registry locked also shields the players who trusted me. Public spreadsheets invite targeted harassment, spam friend requests, and account brokers. I share macro statistics, percentages, and anonymized stories. The raw master file remains permanently offline on my PC.

"I spent three years building this documentary. I share the findings, but nobody gets the raw database to claim my work as theirs."

02. Editorial Focus

Focus on the people.
The story is the community, not the trick.

When covering this project, the editorial focus must stay on the community. Pre-round skin calls are simply an entertainment hook to start conversations in live lobbies. They catch players off-guard and break the ice immediately. That initial surprise opens the door to genuine human interactions.

The real substance of the RGB Project is what happens after that first round. We document the backstories of players who received the rarest cosmetic in Valorant. Some earned it by de-escalating toxic voice chats. Others received it through community charity events or memorable matches with Riot staff. Those human experiences are the heart of this entire study.

Riot Games reviewed and cleared this research because it celebrates sportsmanship and player culture. Frame the skin call as the opening hook, not the destination. Keep your video centered on the people, the verified data, and the history behind the buddy.

"Calling out skins is just the icebreaker. The real documentary is the human stories and the community data behind the charm."

03. Production Assets

Full documentary backing.
What I deliver for your video.

I collaborate directly with creators, YouTubers, and documentary producers. You do not need to guess numbers or rely on fragmented forum rumors. I supply verified research assets, motion graphics, and audio directly from the archive.

Asset 01 · Personal Database

Drafted notes across every tracked encounter.

This is my personal archive, not a third-party project. Every single row has drafted notes and lobby context. Remind me of any encounter, and I explain the complete backstory immediately.

Asset 02 · Verified Stories

500+ authentic human acquisition case files.

Access verified backstories from actual developers and players. Stories range from charity milestones to unique matchmaking encounters. All player identities remain anonymous.

Asset 03 · Tailored Visuals

Motion graphics and images tailored to your video.

I create custom motion charts and visual assets for your edit. Tell me your visual style. I format every asset so it fits your timeline cleanly.

Asset 04 · Channel & Site Promotion

Dedicated channel feature and website spotlight.

When you cover the project, I help promote your video. I record a video on my channel directing viewers to your upload. I also feature your work on this site to help share the knowledge.

04. The Partnership Pipeline

Ready to tell the story?
How to start a collaboration.

I welcome creators of any size, from small streamers to video essayists. This is an open community research project. I manage the archive, while players contribute match logs through VALSTATS and share findings by word of mouth. Here is how we work together:

  • Reach out on Discord: Message mudxiej_ directly or join our community server.
  • Pitch your video idea: Share your angle. I spent four years managing social media for SteelSeries, so I can help refine your hook and packaging.
  • Align on verified numbers: Review encounter rates and archive stats before writing your script.
  • Respect the privacy rule: Do not ask for raw spreadsheets or player contact lists.
  • Submit your draft for review: Send your cut before export so we verify technical statements and dates.

When your video goes live, I provide pinned comment support and engage with viewers. This ensures your audience receives authoritative context directly from the project creator.

"No matter your channel size, if you want to make content around this project, I will happily provide whatever you need."
