The Other
Buddy Nobody
Talks About.
While I was collecting RGB data, I started noticing another buddy that doesn't show up in community discussions either - the "I Create" buddy. So I started collecting that too.
Not For Players.
For Creators.
The Riot Gun Buddy goes to players. The "I Create" buddy goes to a completely different group - people who contributed something of their own to the game itself. A spray. A banner. Artwork that became an actual Valorant cosmetic. Something that exists inside the game because someone outside of Riot made it.
Same rules as the RGB - can't be bought, can't be earned through gameplay. But the reason behind it is different. This one isn't about how you played. It's about what you made that Riot decided belonged in the game.
Appreciation
For The Artists.
This isn't a separate project with a launch date or a video planned. It's something I picked up naturally - when I was already in lobbies asking RGB owners about their story, occasionally I'd spot someone with the "I Create" buddy too. Same approach: ask. Log it. See what's there.
The questions are slightly different. With RGB owners I ask how and when they got it. With "I Create" owners I'm more interested in what they make - what type of content, what platform, what their creator profile actually looks like. The buddy is the entry point. The creator behind it is what I want to understand.
The dataset is small. This doesn't have the same priority as the RGB project and I'm not grinding lobbies specifically for it. It's just something that runs alongside everything else - when I find one, I ask. That's the whole thing for now.
If You Have
The "I Create" Buddy.
Come find me on Discord directly. Not a form for this one - just a conversation. What you make, where you post it, how long you've been creating around Valorant.
The main research is still the Riot Gun Buddy.
