The Project That
Couldn't Be Killed.
When my TikTok got banned the first time, I didn't panic or beg for the handle back. Platforms come and go, but three years of ground-truth data cannot be erased by an algorithm.
Banned on social media.
The research never blinked.
Getting banned on social media made me mad. When TikTok wiped my account on my birthday after 118,000 views, I thought it was the end of the line.
Then I realized social platforms are just advertising. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch bring attention to the research, but the project will never die because of a ban. I will always find new ways to reach players and talk about the work.
The beauty is that this is a community project led by me. Anyone can contribute stories, tips, and buddy encounters.
The entire investigation lives offline on my PC. The master spreadsheet sits on my hard drive, accessible anytime. Platforms can delete an account, but they cannot touch physical files on disk.
"A platform ban can kill a clip. It cannot kill an archive of 500+ verified human stories."
Total anonymity.
Total control of the findings.
Because the data is completely independent, I have total freedom over what happens to it.
Every single player name in the 500+ owner database is strictly anonymized. Nobody in that spreadsheet gets doxxed, harassed, or exposed. Their stories are verified, logged, and stripped of personal tags before any findings are shared.
That independence means the research survives anything. I can share the data with creator partners (like MrLowlander) to produce massive documentary cuts. I could sell the dataset to competitive analytics networks or esports publications. Or I can publish the full eleven-chapter deep dive myself on this website and on YouTube.
No matter who edits the video or where the clips get hosted, I spent 1,200+ days doing the groundwork in live lobbies. The findings stand on their own, the credit remains indisputable, and the project simply cannot die.
